British Heart Foundation Recommends You Do It “Hard & Fast”

What’s funny about a heart attack? Well, not much.
But if you want people to take a topic like CPR seriously, humor is clearly the way to go.

The British Heart Foundation spoofed their own popular video with a Mini-Vinnie as the star. We must say, it might be funnier than the original. Check it out and let us know what you think.

You can check out the original (and as it turns out, life-saving) ad with legendary tough-guy Vinnie Jones below:

Check out their YouTube page to see interviews with people who have been “Vinnied” (or have been saved by people who knew what to do because of these videos) since the original video aired at the beginning of the year.

It’s great to see nonprofits thinking outside the box to create eye-catching campaigns like this Hard and Fast one. Seeing the follow-up videos like the ones about how they have saved lives really makes it easier to press that donate button.

While I don’t look for all nonprofits to spend contributions in this way, it’s nice to see some being innovative and thinking outside of the box in order to be effective.

These Hard and Fast videos are very funny! And I didn’t know that there was a “hands-only” CPR. Learn something new every day.

Same here Jamie, I didn’t know there was a “hands-only” version either.
